

Tom was born in Halifax on April 21, 1961, the son of Eric and Kay (Kenny) Duggan. He attended Saint Agnes Elementary, and Saint Patrick’s High Schools.
Tom was employed for a number of years at the Halifax Infirmary. He returned to the classroom to study Information Technology and was subsequently employed at CE Franklin in Burnside, NS and Calgary, AB.
As a hobby, he enjoyed his talent with the guitar and shared that talent in a number of local bands.
Besides his parents, Tom is survived by brothers Peter (Sherri), Calgary; Christopher (Sun), Saskatoon; Brian (Beth Moser), Dartmouth; Michael, Lawrence, Patrick (Lisa Harrison), and sisters, Nora (Scott) Perry, all of Halifax; Ruth (Otto Van Barneveld) Chester Basin, and Margaret (Doug) Lewis, Lower Sackville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carol.
Cremation has taken place.
On Saturday, January 3, the funeral liturgy will be celebrated in the chapel at Snow’s Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, by Reverend Bernard O’Neill, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The liturgy will be preceded by a period of visitation beginning at 10:00a.m. A Reception will follow the ceremony.
