
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a kind heart, always putting the concerns and problems of others ahead of his own, even while he was suffering from this devastating disease. He served in the Canadian Forces for 34 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Alice Nash. He is survived by his wife Charlene, sons Bradley (Catherine ) (Tantallon) and Brian (Michelle) (Middleton, PE) grandchildren Alison, Jacob, Emma and Sebastian, Brothers Ned (Chester ), Dennis (New Minas) and Stephen (Halifax), sisters Jean (Stevenson, Halifax), Cathy (Edward’s, Sackville, NS) and Carol (Webb, Hammonds Plains) and Mother in law Charlotte Anderson (Glace Bay). The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to family friends Joe Rodgerson, Margie MacInnis, the staff from VON NS, ALS NS, and the homecare workers from RJF who help in his care over the past year. He appreciated each one of you.
There will be a private memorial service for family members in the summer.
In lieu of flowers you can honour his memory by making a donation to the ALS Society or doing what he would do and give of yourself, showing love and compassion to help someone in need.
