Betty Lou Crawford

Betty was born at home on July 25, 1925in Hamilton County, Texas to Addie Zelpha (Davenport) and Levi Slaton Eary.

She was married to Fred Weir. They had two children together. After his death she married Gus Crawford. She

lived in Hillsboro, Texas for several years. She and Gus had a Convenience Store in Hillsboro until his death.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Fred Weir, Husband Gus Crawford, Brothers; Russell, Gather (Red) , Johnny, Emmett, Gene Tuney, and E.C.(Doc), Sisters;Zelpha Harris and Edith Modean Harrison, Son Terry Weir, daughter Carolyn Kay Jacobs, grand-daughter Carol ann Jacobs, numerous nieces and nephews and very dear friend Gordon (Dee-Dee) Barnes

Survivors include her grand-daughter Tammy Kay (Jacobs) Fried, Her husband Mark Fried and their son William Mansfield Fried, grand-son Randall Lee Jacobs all of Mountain Home Idaho. She is also survived by grand-daughter Kerri Lynn Weir, grand-sons Jimmy Wayne Brown and Jason Michael Weir, great grandchildren Robin Lynn Gatica,Jamie Parra, Markos Parra, Monika Parra, Aubrey Sunshine Brown, Nicole Marie Brown, great-great grandchildren; Cassondra Pryor and Isaiah Pryor all of Texas. She has one living brother Barney Eary, sisters in law Janie Eary and Josephine Blum. Her family consists of numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Betty was a gentle kind woman that loved everyone. She enjoyed gardening, visiting with friend, crafts and playing bingo. She also loved cats. She talked to her cats and fed them so good they were always fat and round. She also liked her little dog. She was very good with animals and they recognized that she would be good to them.

She was fortunate to have lived the last few years in a facilities that had small number of residents and she made great friends

with the staff. They made sure she was taken outside for a while almost every day and if children were playing across the street they let her sit and watch them for a little extra time. Wherever she was during her life Betty made friends.
