He was born March 25, 1930 to Eph B. Wilson and Esther Brown Wilson in Hico. Graduating from Pottsville High School, Billie went on to serve his country in the Army and then enlisted in the National Guard. Never short on having a good time, Billie loved to fish, cook, garden, and attend to his cattle.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marlin, Deloy, and Jimmy Wilson; and sisters, Juanda Baier, Nona Fa Wiedebusch, and Nita Jean Rongey.
Surviving Billie are his sisters, Anella Van Huss, Joan Giese and Cheryl "Tommie" Daniel; sister-in-law, Genova Wilson; nieces, nephews, good friends Charles Krempin, Ralph Lee; and his sale barn friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Billie asks that memorial donations be made to the Indian Gap Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 133, Hamilton, TX 76531.
