Gary Gene Morgan, 62 gained his wings on April 19, 2022 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born on January 13, 1960 in Taylor, Texas to T.T. and Emma Morgan. At an early age he started working alongside his dad in the cotton gin, and fell in love with the industry. He went on to spend most of his life doing what he loved. He travelled throughout the US, and many other countries, managing, repairing and Building cotton gins. No matter where he was, Gary never knew a stranger, and could always find something to talk about. He was a devoted family man, and loved everyone unconditionally.
When he wasn’t working, you could find him, camping in the mountains, or casting a line. He also loved riding his many motorcycles. He loved to sing, and knew the words to every old country song. Gary was also a brilliant handyman, if it was broke, he could fix it. If it needed built, he could build it. Whenever anyone had a question about how to repair something, Gary was the man to call.
Gary was very proud of all his children, and grandchildren. He was the type of father, and grandfather that never had to tell you he loved you, because you always felt it in your heart.
Gary is survived by his wife, Trudy, his beloved puppy Maggie, children Nicole Fry (Kevin), Mandy DuMond (Charles), Misty Meyer (Mark), Kendra Norton (Kyle), Buddy Stewart (Shandi), and son Bobby Baker. Sisters Marie Helmick (Gary), Becky Alexander (Roy), Melody Story (David). Brother-in-laws, Larry Stone, and William Schnoebelen. Father-in-law, Bob Schnoebelen, and Mother-in-law Judy, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Emily, Nora Terry and Charlotte.
