
Joyce was born to the late Omer and Blanche Thompson Little on October 27, 1924 in Hamilton. She married the late Alfred Reinert, and they lived in California before relocating to Pottsville. They later settled in Hamilton.
Alfred and Joyce lived and worked on their farm raising livestock, running an egg operation and managing the Pottsville Mill, which they owned and operated for many years. Joyce also worked at her daughter’s dress shop, Quetta’s on the Hamilton Square.
Joyce loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed watching them participate in school activities.
Every summer, she looked forward to all five grandchildren coming to stay with her. She also was a big sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Joyce is survived by one sister: Dot Wilcox and her husband Charles of Ruidoso, New Mexico. She is also survived by her three children: Laquetta Joyce Coan and her husband David of Irving; Donna Rutledge of Hico; and David Reinert of Irving. Joyce is survived by five grandchildren: Cathi Lewis and husband Rick of Aledo; Jon Kyle Hartgraves and wife Valynda of Hico; Steven Lile Hartgraves and wife Karen of Graham; Jodi Groshans and husband Thomas of Magnolia; and Ben David Coan and wife Amy of Allen. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and a close family friend: Keith Elrod of Hico.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Reinert; and her siblings: Pauline Meher, Martine Hoard, Emily Pipes, Allen Little and Tookie Reinert.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to your favorite charity.
Visitation was held at the Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton. The service and burial was in Hamilton on September 27th.
