Mark worked many years as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the blind. He worked for Education Service Center II in Corpus Christi. He was an Evangelist and supported open carry for Texas.
He is survived by his sisters, Laurie Thompson of Garland, Kathy Thompson of Waco, and Janet Thompson of Garland; and brother, James Thompson of Dallas.
Services were held Monday, June 20, 2016 at Riley Funeral Chapel at 1:30 PM and a burial followed at IOOF.
