Peggy Ann Bennett

Peggy Ann Bennett, age 63, of Hamilton, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Peggy was born on Sunday, February 17, 1952 in Hamilton, Texas to Bill Koy and Lavenia Pastories (Hodnett) Lane.

Peggy grew up in the Hamilton area where she worked at the Walls Sewing Factory in Hamilton, TX and then she worked at the Gatesville Crain Unit Prison. Peggy’s biggest enjoyment though came from spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Jack Lane

Peggy is survived by her two sons Koy Bennett and Aaron Bennett and wife Laura Bennett all of Hamilton, TX and six grandchildren, Dustin Bennett, Justin Bennett, Rustin Bennett, Madison Bennett, and Morgan Bennett, with Kyle Bennett on the way. Peggy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Shive Public Cemetery in Shive, TX with longtime family friend Ted Whitehead officiating.

Pallbearers were Clay Boatwright, Jeff Stroud, Michael Stroud, Chance Logan, Ricky Boyd and Cody Armstrong. Honorary Pallbearers were the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department.
