Leo was born to parents Elva Brown and John Andrew Larson in Torrance, CA, and spent his entire life residing in Southern California. After serving as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, Leo went on to become a partner in Vendors Service, Inc. a vending machine company operating in the greater Los Angeles area.
He was married for sixty-one years to Alice Marie (Pippett) Barton who preceded him in death. Leo is survived by children Lenora Barton, John Barton, and spouse Kimberly Holland, both of Hesperia, California, and Wendy Dunphy and partner Mike Hoffman of Broomfield, Colorado as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Alice and Leo will be announced at a later date.
