Jim joined the Navy at 17 and served 4 years in Korea.
We met in Sarasota, Fl on August 17, 1968, and were married in Orlando on September 9, 1968. We moved to Atlanta for the next 10 years, Jim drove a bus for Atlanta, owned and operated a pillow manufacturing company and sold pillows and 14k gold jewelry at a Flea Market in Jacksonville, Fl.
I accepted a position in Southern California, and we moved in December 1979. Jim became a supervisor at Orange County Transit and later owned and operated 3 18-wheeler trucks. He retired in the mid 1990’s. After retirement we were involved in Showing Miniature Schnauzers, and he became a show dog taxi. It seemed that show dogs are never where they are needed, and he loved the dogs.
In later years he loved to watch old movies and Turner Classic Movies was his favorite channel. He loved going to San Diego and casinos.
