California and went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2018. Preceded in
death by his father, Bernard; mother, Alice; two older brothers Bob
and Bernie; older sister Jan; and grandson Stan. Skip served in the
U.S. Air Force as a military policeman and corporal and was in the
Navy Reserves. He attended Holy Family Church in Hesperia, California
and was part of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of
65 years, Betty; his sons Michael, Neal, and Tom; his daughters Jenny
and Cindy; 12 grandkids; 18 great grandkids; one great great
grandchild; and many extended family and friends. A viewing and rosary
will be held at Kern Mortuary on Main St. in Hesperia on Thursday, May
10th from 4-8 pm. The graveside service will be held at Riverside
National Cemetery in Riverside, California on Friday, May 11th at 10:45
am.
