Sharolyn Diane Anderson

February 4, 2019. She studied nursing at Orange Coast College before enjoying a long career in

commercial paint and hardware. She was the Paint Dept Manager for 17 years at Homestead

Supplies/Barr Lumber in Apple Valley.

She loved the desert, playing at Deep Creek, and enjoyed all her wild life encounters. She had a passion

for gardening, drawing, and crossword puzzles.

Sherry is survived by her former spouse and love of her life, Robert J. Anderson of Reno, Nv.

Sherry leaves behind her “little” sister Carole D. Beers of Pasadena, Ca; Daughters Lorie Newman (Mike

Yamada), Brenda (Gene) Dickinson; Son James (Amy) Anderson; Grandchildren Tyler, Lindsey, Tristan,

and Jessica Anderson, Mikey Yamada, Jess Newman, David Gamez, and great grandson Riley; Nephew

Brian S. Beers (Adriana Molina); Great nieces Briana, Bryn, and Myla; Great nephew Dylan.

Loving gratitude and sincere thanks to Natalia Llamas, caregiver and good friend for the last 14 years.

Sherry is predeceased by mothers Opal Marguerite Barnes and Vemba M. McCormick; and, fathers

Walter C. Barnes and Bob McCormick.

Graveside Services to be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, Ca on

Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow.
