PINES, Carol Linda, passed away on March 2, 2015, at age 72 after a valiant struggle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, she was a dedicated teacher for 35 years who instilled an appreciation for music in all of her students.
Carol was a woman of great intelligence who was a loyal and devoted confidante to her many friends. A vibrant and talented artist, she was also one of a rare breed of lifelong New York Mets fan.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Harvey Richmond, devoted daughter Erika Antin (Scott), stepchildren Estelle Richmond (Doug) and Mike Richmond (Kaydee), and grandchildren Drew, Jessica, James and Warren.
Service at noon on Friday, March 6, at The Boulevard Riverside Chapel, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society are appreciated.
