Andrew is survived by his beloved wife Halina Ruszkiewicz of 64 years; three children Tamara (Ruszkiewicz) Porter, Andrea (Mike) Saricos, and David Ruszkiewicz; five grandchildren Stefanie (Juan) Salano, Kevin Porter, Stephen Saricos, Dylan and Hannah Ruszkiewicz; three great grandchildren Camilo, Liliana, and Mateo Salano; and brother Marion Ruszkiewicz from Ostrowiec SW, Poland.
He is preceded in death by his parents Waclaw Ruszkiewicz and Helena Leokadia (Fudalej) Ruszkiewicz from Ostrowiec SW, Poland, and brother Jan Ruszkiewicz.
Andrew was born in Ostrowiec SW, Poland, on April 22, 1936, and came to the United States in 1964 when he was 28 years old. He retired as a proud union worker with over 32 years as a machinist from U.S. Steel. He loved fishing, hunting, traveling, and camping with his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
