Betty L. Weede, age 82, of St. John, passed away April 9, 2010. She is survived by her two sons: John(Madeline) Weede of Higland and Harry Weede of Highland; two daughters: Florence Cody of St. John and Laura(John) Guetschow of St. John; nine grandchildren: Robert, Steven, Andrew, Johnny, and Jason Weede; Dave(Lisa) Guetschow, Lisa(Michael) Kelly, Laci(Michael) Myers, and Crystal Cody; five great grandchildren; one special niece; Carolyn Maier of IL and gentleman friend: Robert Wagner of Munster. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Weede. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.( 2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana, Chaplain Michael Pennanen, officiating. Interment at Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery, Dolton, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, April 12, 2010 from 3-8 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions in Betty’s memory may be made to Feed the Children.
