Carole Anne Alb (nee Blaskovich), 83, passed away peacefully on Oct 25, 2025. Carole was born in East Chicago, IN on August 26, 1942 to John and Katherine Blaskovich. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim of 54 years in 2021. Carole graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1960 and had several office support jobs starting with Standard Forgings Co. in Chicago, then eventually became a typesetter at both the Hammond Times and the Calumet Press in NWI. Her favorite role was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Carole is survived by her two sons, Jim and Dan, and 3 grandchildren. She will join her husband and be interred at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point, IN.
