Cathy J. White age 70 of Gary, IN passed away May 22,2015; she is survived by daughter, Stephanie (Todd) Nessen; her partner of 27 years, Al Huber "old man Huber"; four step- children: Allan, Steve, Rocky and Kelle Huber; six step- grandchildren, eleven step- great grandchildren, many brothers and sisters-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Thursday May 28, 2015; 11:30 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday May 27, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cathy worked at the Lake County Library for 20 years, she loved to cook, do cross word puzzles, she loved animals and she also loved reading romance novels.
