Charles A. Jones Jr. age 72 of Merrillville, IN passed away September 22,2016, he is survived by two sons Brian (Penny) Jones, Kevin (Nicole) Jones four grandchildren Lucas, Ethan, Abby, Ty Jones, many cousins, nieces, nephews; preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Rachel, parents Charles & Ethelene, one brother Johnny, one sister Connie Sue. A celebration of his life will be held Monday September26, 2016, 5:00 PM at Griffith Free Methodist Church (826 N. Lillian St), Griffith, IN Pastor Matthew Schutter officiating. Mr. Jones retired from Inland Steel in 1999, served in the Navy for four years, his hobbies were golf and bowling, he graduated in 1964 from Hammond Technical Vocational High School.
