Charles Wilson

Charlie was born in East Chicago to the late Thomas and the late Katherine Wilson.

Charlie is loving husband to Jean Wilson; beloved father to Cheryl (Jeremy) Brewer and Brian (Michelle) Wilson; proud grandfather to Kayla, Kyle and Logan; cherished brother to Lynda (the late Dan) Kirkland and the late Charlotte Stout; uncle to many.

Charlie honorably served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a 1967 graduate of Hammond Tech and retired after 47 years of faithful service at LTV Steel. He was a antique car enthusiast and enjoyed taking his 1947 Ford Pickup to various car shows. He also enjoyed taking his bride of 57 years to the movies and out to eat several times a week.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral at 1:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. He will be laid to rest in St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
