Daniel J. Connelly, age 75, of Highland, IN passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015. He is survived by his fiancé of 20 years, Maria Turek; special friends: John (Linda) VanNatter, Ewa Turek and Jack Wilson; and canine companion, Freddy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel P. Connelly and Helen Connelly (nee Wilson). Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home (prayer service 7:30 p.m.) Mr. Connelly was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Post #369 of East Chicago.
