Donald E. Peter, age 42, of Griffith, IN passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Shauna (nee Poirier); mother, Irma Heredia of Griffith, IN; father, Donald A. Peter of Griffith, IN; one brother, Aaron Peters of Schererville, IN; and one niece, Delilah. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Chaplain Dwayne Lewis officiating. Cremation will follow service. Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home. Sgt.
