Dear Mary and Family,
We send our prayers and sympathy to all of you at this
most difficult time. Don and I met when we were 6 years old at Holy Angels Grade School in Gary, went on to Bishop Noll High School together and then renewed our friendship at grade school and high school reunions, the last high school reunion being only months ago. Don was truly a kind and wonderful person who brought joy to so many. Always a gentleman, eager to help, a genuine person. He will be greatly missed by many.

Don attended the last four “meetings “ at the Franklin House in Valparaiso with the rest of us retirees from Bethlehem Steel. He always had stories to share and it was a gift to talk to him after some years of absence from his company. We’re glad we got to share with him at the beginning of this year. We are sorry for your loss as it is our loss too. He was a great friend and coworker. He is in our prayers as is the whole Family.

Dear Weber Family,
It was a shock to hear about Don’s passing. He was a person that would help you in any way he could. I worked with him at Bethlehem for all those same years. We last saw him in February at a gathering of retirees. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless.

Our sympathies to Don's family. Don was a excellent worker, fun to work with, and a good friend. I have many fond memories of Don especially our all night round trip to Rochester, MN and to St. Louis to retrieve my Mother's car.
