Edgar C. Gleim

Ed is the loving husband of 51 years to Christena "Chris" Gleim; cherished father to Christian (Traci) Gleim, Sieglinde Gleim, Michael Gleim and Takara Boyd; grandfather to ten; and stepbrother to Bob (Carol) Wilford.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Gleim; and mother, Dorothy Gleim; and two stepmothers, Della Grace Gleim and Della Willford Gleim.

Ed was a funeral director and embalmer for over 50 years. He and his wife relocated to Indiana in 1980, where he was an embalmer for over 40 years. He with his wife were proud foster parents for over 30 years. After retirement, he enjoyed delivering flowers with Andee's florist.

Visitation will be Monday June 23rd, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with a celebration of life at 7:00 PM, at First Christian Church, 202 West Pine Street, Griffith, IN 46319. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made toward Griffith First Christian Church in Ed's name.
