FLORENCE M. URAM "MICKEY" GRIFFITH, IN Florence M. "Mickey" Uram, 95, of Griffith, passed away surrounded by her loving family. A good and gentle woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, she was welcomed into paradise by her Heavenly Father on January 28, 2013. Mrs. Uram is survived by two sons: Gene (Anna) Uram and Jim (Janice) Uram both of Griffith; two daughters: Flo Mose of Florida and Cathy (Dick) Donnelly of Crown Point, IN.; daughter-in-law, Phyllis (David) Uram Rybicki of Highland, IN; grandchildren: Kim Williams, Troy Donnelly, Sally Mose, Nicole (Rudy) Djordjevich, Scott (Bonnie) Donnelly, Keith Uram, Jodi (Jerry) Van Curen, Alicia Nava, Dale Uram, Amanda Uram, and Brad (Beth)Uram; as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Waiting to greet Florence are: her loving husband, John, Sr., devoted son, John Uram, Jr., and Baby Georgie, as well as her best friend, Ethel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Highland with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland (two blocks south of Ridge Road) where a prayer service will be held. Mrs. Uram was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Highland, AARP of St. John, Swinging Seniors Griffith, WOW Group, and the Grandmother Club of Griffith-Chapter 105.
