James Robert Casko

James Robert Casko was born October 2, 1951 to Daniel and Donna Casko. James passed away February 5, 2020 peacefully at home. He is survived by his two daughters Stephanie Roberts and Jamie (Randy) Daniel; as well as his two grandsons, Adrian and Andrew Roberts and two brothers, Joseph and Daniel Casko. James was a member of the Moose Lodge, Labor Union Local 81, and Italian Caesar's Sons and Daughters of America. His passions included sports, politics, and most importantly, his faith in God. James was a beloved coach for youth basketball and soccer, as well as an Army Veteran and an active member of the Assembly of God Church. He graduated from Gary Wirt High School in 1970 and attended Emerson School in Gary, Indiana. A Service will be on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 9:30AM at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel in Crown Point, IN. Kuiper Funeral Home Highland, IN is entrusted with the arrangements.
