James Raymond Grossmann

Jimm is the loving husband for 50 years to Betsy Grossmann; proud father to Dominic (Lisa) Grossmann and Sam (Katie) Grossmann; cherished grandfather to Sammy, Mason, Marcy, and Kaya Grossmann; beloved son to Theresa and the late Raymond Grossmann; brother to Timothy (Rachael) Grossmann, the late Thomas Grossmann. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jimm was a Senior Planner at Cleveland Cliffs for over 48 years. He started his career with Youngstown Sheet and Tube and survived seven name changes. He was a longtime faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Jimm was a loyal Bears and White Sox fan. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling. He especially enjoyed vacationing with his wife at various casinos. His family is comforted knowing that his final wager hit on a square for the Super Bowl.

Visitation will be Monday, February 19, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1 W. Wilhelm Rd. Schererville, IN 46375). He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School Educational Foundation.
