John D. DeAngelo, age 86, of Griffith, formerly of Crete, passed away March 9, 2011. He is survived by his four sons: Allen(Amy) DeAngelo of Crete; Dave(Nancy) DeAngelo of Illinois; Rick(Diane) DeAngelo of MN; Jim DeAngelo of IL; two daughters: Carol(Tony) Irvin of Griffith and Yvonne(Ron) DeAngelo Carlson of IL; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother: Valentino(Desser) DeAngelo and sister: Lydia Corradetti, both of South Chicago Heights; He was preceded in death by his wife: Lorrine and parents: Lorenzo and Bambina De Angelo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.(2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana. Interment at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family before services on Monday morning from 9-11 AM.
