 Obituario de John G. Peters

EN EL CUIDADO DE

Kuiper Funeral Home

The beautiful soul of John Peters departed from his earthly journey at the 3:00 Hour of Mercy on Valentine's Day! As he journeys on to his Real Home to join with the most loving hearts of Jesus and Mary, may a bit of John's love remain in each of the hearts he touched while he walked with us! John was born in January 1961 to Peter and Dolores Peters who loved him dearly! He was a loving husband to his wife, Sue; a caring Dad and Father-in-law to Dan (Pam) Peters, Emily (Brian) Fisher, and Seth (Mallory) Peters; an awesome Grandpa John to Benny, Sophia, and Wyatt; and had a special heart for Chewy the Wauzer. John will be deeply missed by his kind brothers and their wives: Jim (Karen), Joe (Cheryl), Larry (Sharon), and Ken (Sherrie) Peters; his caring brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Bill, Dave (Cindy), and Jim (Tammy) Blahunka; as well as by his many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also loved by his dearly departed Father & Mother-in-law, Ted and Arlene Blahunka. John will also be missed by all those who were like family to him especially his neighbors, GATX co-workers, vanpool riders, church friends, and those who have become extended family to us through marriages. John taught us all a lot of things to help us live through this life, and he lived what he taught! He made us all proud to know him! His faith, family, working hard, and being out in nature were what was important to him! He never was a quitter and always moved forward! He was indeed a very Good Man and a blessing to us all!!! Please - instead of flowers, share some extra love and kindness to those around you or make a donation to a charity close to your heart! Also since John shared his beautiful gift of music by playing the piano and organ for many years at Our Lady of Grace and other area churches, if you would like to make a donation to Our Lady of Grace Church for the organ fund in John's memory, it will be greatly appreciated so the music can continue on! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, March 6, 2021 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3025 Highway Avenue), Highland, IN. Private burial. Due to the pandemic and for everyone's safety, the family has decided not to have a luncheon after the funeral services. Friends may visit with the family Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.KuiperFH.com for the Peters family.
