Kum Yon "Mary" Baeza

Mary was born on July 17, 1945 in Korea. She came to Chicago in 1964 at the young age of 18, shortly after marrying her devoted and loving husband. During her 30 years of service at Jays Potato Chips, she formed many enduring friendships. Devoted parishioner of Assembly of God Korean Church of Munster, IN, Mary was known as caring and kind to her family, friends and to all of those in need.

Mary is preceded in death by Raul (Bully), her husband of 38 years. She is survived by her children, Frank (Bridget) Baeza, Raul (Diane) Baeza, Jr., Mike (Carolyn) Baeza, and Diana (Danny) Perez; 13 grandchildren, Mary Bridget, Joey, Anthony, Lily, Ian, Melissa, Melanie, Miranda, Daniel, Marissa, Thomas, Justin, and Maya; seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Liberty, Lukas, Caden, Cora, and Declan; sister-in-law Roseanne (Terry) Watson.

On Thursday, December 2nd, family and friends may visit Kuiper Funeral Home, 9030 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service to honor Mary will take place the following morning at 10:00 AM at United Methodist Church, 6635 Homan Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324.
