Mary Giba Hess

Mary Hess (nee Giba), age 100, of Hessville passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Robertson; four grandchildren: Scott (Pam) Robertson, Christal (Jim Nunley) Robertson, Lynette (Randy) Schauer and David Hess; two great granddaughters: Kari Robertson and Jessica Schauer; two brothers: William (Ursula) Giba and Mike Giba; sister, Helen Gumkowski; daughter in law, Donna Hess; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hess was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; son, Robert Hess; four brothers: Nick, Andrew, John and Pete Giba; two sisters: Rose Zukauskas and Ann Giba; son in law, Bruce Robertson. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. James Thomson officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
