He was a loving father to Hannah (Michael) and Haleah (Domanic); and a goofy grandpa to Juniper and Haytham. He is survived by his brothers, Jim, Larry, Al, and Mark; his sisters, Angela and Elaine; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Estrada, and his stepfather, Alan Estrada; his father, James Wilson, and stepmother, Lauralynn Wilson; his brothers, John Estrada and Brian Wilson; and his dog, Rosie.
Michael dedicated his life serving others as a paramedic and owning an ambulance company. Although these last few years he focused on writing his book while happily working at Amazon Logistics DLN4. He was proud to be a published author of Second Sight. Michael was an avid hockey fan, always cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks. He was a devoted Christian and lived his life to show Jesus to others.
Michael will be deeply missed, but we know he is at peace and reunited with so many loved ones.
A memorial visitation for Michael will be held on Friday February 13, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 4:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322.
