Nancy R. Uriss age 82 of Highland, IN, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2016; beloved wife to George, cherished mother to Laurel (Lary) Reed, Leslie (Joe) Spehar, grandmother to David (Holly) Reed, great grandmother "GG" to Carter & Adeline Reed, three sisters Trudy Ahrens, Ricky Dawson, Sherry Hyland, one brother Bruce Hyland. Funeral services will be held Friday September 9, 2016, 12 Noon at Kuiper Funeral Home 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN. Pastor Brian Powers officiating, burial Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 Noon (time of services) at the funeral home. Nancy had a strong abiding faith in God and lived her beliefs through her actions in her daily life. She enjoyed many creative hobbies including quilting, reading, gardening, painting, sewing, music, crocheting, ceramics.
