Peggy Ellen Green, age 67, of Cedar Lake, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2020.

She is survived by her children, Adrienne (Kevin) Cox, Nathanial J.(Bianca) Green and Nicholas C. Green; grandchildren, Kameron Cox, Abigail Cox, Ian R. Green and Levi J. Green; siblings, Judy Dembowski (Terry Foster) and Jennifer (Shawn) Toczek and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended "family".

Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Richard Green and brother, Norman C. Kostoff.

Peggy was born May 23, 1953 in Hammond, IN to the late Norman and Maudie Lee Kostoff and was a graduate of Morton High School. She worked for Franciscan Physician Network.

She was a very active member of her community serving as secretary of the Ladies of American Legion Post 261-Cedar Lake, IN, auxiliary member of the Fraternal Order for Eagles 2529-Cedar Lake, IN and president of HOA Monastery Woods Town Homes.

Known as "Mom" to many she always had an open door, open heart and food for all! She loved baking, gardening and especially her "Furbabies". She will be greatly missed by all!

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, Indiana 46322 with Rev. Theodore J. Mens officiating.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 3:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

Masks are required for attendance at the funeral home.
