She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Nick Boyan, Jr., her father, Mikhail and her mother, Takouhi, and brothers Vardgas (Mark), Ruben and George and sisters Arpina, Ann Clinton and Susan Biggs. During her fifteen years in “The Deli” Rose developed friendships that were very dear to her the remainder of her life. Rose was a warm and loving mother and mother-in-law to her children Darcie of Hammond, Nick (Nancy) Boyan of Williamsville, New York and Rebecca (Kevin) Schroeder of Crown Point. She was also a loving and nurturing grandmother to Alexis Boyan of Chicago, IL, Nicholas Boyan IV of New Orleans, LA , Nathianal (Jake) Boyan of Pittsburgh, PA, Matthew Boyan of Indianapolis and Tyler Schroeder of Crown Point.
