Thomasanna "Tommie" Certa

Thomasanna "Tommie" Certa, age 84, of Highland, IN passed away June 12, 2021. Survived by four children, Alita (Mark) Bonick, Domenic (Diane) Certa, Christopher (Linda) Certa, and Anthony (Jennifer) Certa; seven grand children, five great-grand children, numerous nieces and nephews; one brother Thomas W. (Pat) Eaton. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Peter; one daughter Jennifer; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family Thursday morning, June 17th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM (service time). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northwest Indiana Humane Society, 421 45th St, Munster, IN 46321. A burial for will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
