Van is the loving father to Van (Sheila) Stricklin, Jr.; proud grandfather to six; and great-grandfather to five; beloved son to the late Louie and Julia Stricklin; cherished brother to Kimball (Suzanne) Stricklin and Susan (Mark) Denkowski; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kassandra; and granddaughter, Erica.
Van honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the United States Post Office after over 30 years of faithful service.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
