Ellen was the co-owner of Honoka'a Bakery and worked alongside her family at H T Hori Farm. Her dedication to her work and community was evident throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, Samuel (Dana) Hori, and her daughters, Donna (Joseph) Mah and Ann Tamaye. Ellen also leaves behind her sister, Joyce Sasaki, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Ellen will be remembered for her contributions to her family and community, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8th, at the Paauilo Kongoji Mission from 9 am to 10 am, followed by a service at 10 am.
