Mr. Davis was a member of Grace Pointe Assembly of God. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. Mr. Davis was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
He loved bluegrass music, playing banjo and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Frankie Davis; two sons, Mark (Connie) Davis and Jeff (Kim) Davis; seven grandchildren, Kristy (Johnathan) Sellers, Lauren Davis, Neyland Davis, Hannah Davis, Rebekah Davis, John Davis and Jonah Davis; and two great grandchildren, Elijah Vogel and Izaiah Sellers.
Funeral services will be 11:30 Wednesday, January 17 at Grace Pointe Assembly of God, 6613 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tennessee 37343.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11:30 Wednesday.
