She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Albert and Edna Margaret Axmacher. Her loving husband, John Lovelady preceded her in death.
Anna Gale was a 1953 graduate of Central High School. She grew up attending Ridgedale Baptist Church. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her 2 children, Lee Anne Odam Werner (Buddy) and Brad Odam (Sandy); 3 grandchildren, Madison Kostadine (Bobby), Meg Sanford (Charles) and Kennerly Werner (Anna); 3 great-grandchildren, Brougher and Marken Sanford and Linley Kostadine; 2 sisters, Sandra Blinn and Marcia Lamb (Bobby); 2 nieces and 3 nephews and many more family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Geneva Hospice workers for all their love and care and the support of her wonderful neighbors.
Through the years Anna Gale’s closest friends have always been her cherished pets, her dogs. She was a life-long animal lover, with a special place in her heart for dogs, particularly mistreated or abandoned ones. She would welcome them to her home with open arms. A graveside service for Anna Gale will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Lakewood Memory Gardens East, 4621 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411 with Rev. Kat Chappell officiating.
