She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert W. King, son David L. King, parents Walter M Jones and Alice Ada Freeman, brothers Walter Paul Jones and Lloyd G. Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy King Williams (Mark) of Sapphire, NC, Grand-daughter Cynthia Beth Brown (Whitney) and one great granddaughter Nola Grace of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, David Z. Patten of Nashville, TN; sister Laura B. Walker, Soddy Daisy; two nieces and two nephews.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for Ronald McDonald house at Erlanger. She was very fond of her niece Barbara Flaherty and the family wishes to thank Dr. McCravey and his staff for 25 years of care and service during her multiple bouts with cancer.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 26 at the Chapel of Devotion in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or a charity of choice.
Arrangements were by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
