Tony was born in Chattanooga and raised on Signal Mountain. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War in the U. S. Army. Tony was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Argle and Juanita Shell; sister, Patsy McGill and brother, William “Bill” Shell.
Tony is survived by his son, Jason; daughter Jennifer and three grandchildren all of Rockledge, Florida; sisters, Judy (Rufus) Price and Sassy Shell; brothers, Jerry (Mary Jane) and David Shell all of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday and 11 am to 12 pm (noon) on Wednesday at the North Chapel on Highway 153, in Hixson.
Graveside services for Tony will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Stacey Seals officiating. Military honors will follow the graveside service for Tony.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
