Barbara Burnette Dye was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on February 21, 1941. She graduated Tyner High School in 1959. Barbara worked for Whirlpool Corporation until her retirement. She attended Ridgedale Baptist church and enjoyed working with the flower and music ministry.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Frank Kenneth Dye. She is survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Tommy Taylor; her 2 grandsons and their wives, Will and Bonnie and Josh and India; and her 2 great grandsons, Liam and Levi.
Barbara went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the age of 82.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30th from 10 am to 11 am at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Chapel of Devotion at 11 am with Reverend Michael Johnson officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
