Bennie was a light in this world we all needed. She loved her precious Lily Belle, Her family, her gardens, but most of all God. She will be dearly missed.
Bennie was preceded in death by her father, Ben Palmer, Her mother, Elizabeth “Chubs” Palmer, her sister, Elizabeth “Sister” Christopher, her first husband, Nick Hess, V and her second husband, Lanny Davis, Jr.
Bennie is survived by her son, Nick (Beth) Hess, VI, her granddaughters, Shea Hess and Jordan Hess, great grandson, Zeyn Hess, nieces, Kim Butcher, Rebecca Vincent, and Kim Coates, nephews, Chad Christopher, Drew Christopher, and Anthony Hess, and many family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Funeral services will be 11:00 Saturday, December 31 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 Friday and 9-11 Saturday.
