Born in Hohenwald, Tennessee on October 31, 1929, He lived the majority of his life in Chattanooga. He proudly served in the United States Army, and worked as an electrician at DuPont for 40 years. A huge Tennessee Vols and Braves fan. His love for travel took him across the United States, as well as overseas. He was a long time member and deacon at Red Bank Church of Christ. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to God, the church, and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie P. Gallaher, two daughters, Lisa (Mike) Nami and Leca (David) Bailey, grandson, Adam Nami and granddaughter Layla Nami.
No funeral services will be held at this time.
The family hopes to have a celebration of his life at a later date.
