Betty Fara, 88, passed away on the 20th of July 2020 in Murfreesboro, TN. Betty was born in Ohio, but spent most of her life in Red Bank and Soddy Daisy, TN. She was a member of the Hixson Presbyterian Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, George Fara; her father and mother, Glenn and Mildred King; and her sister, Janet Vanfossen.
Betty is survived by her daughter: Trish (Jay) Clark; sons: Randy (Shirley) Fara and Sam (Deborah) Fara; grandchildren: Kathryn Fara, Randy (Robin) Fara, Josh Clark, Scott Clark, Morgan (Ian) Helms; and her great-granddaughters: Olivia and Remi.
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held graveside in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Thursday July 23, 2020 at 2:00 pm ET.
We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by Hamilton Co. Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.
