Betty Jo Green

Betty attended Calvary Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She received excellent care from TN Oncology, Dr Depasquale and staff, as well as Hospice of Chattanooga nurses Ashley and Faedra.

Betty was born to Edward and Frances Green at Bakewell August 18, 1945. A year later they moved to Hixson where she lived with her mom and dad until their deaths in 2006 and 2007. She then lived with her brother, Jerry and his wife Debbie.

Betty is survived by her brothers, Lee Green (Billie), and Jerry Green (Debbie) ; nephews, Troy and Scott Green; nieces, Candy, Cindy and Carey; 11 great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew; best friend Carl Wallace, and many cousins.

Betty was loved by many people and she loved everyone, especially family and friends, Jesus, Elvis and Atlanta Braves.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2nd from 4-7 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:00 am with Ronnie Brown and Cindy Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brittany, Brandie, Maggie, Colby, Allison and Peyton with Troy and Scott as honorary pallbearers.
