Betty Davis Hardy, age 82, of Rossville, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in a local health care facility. She was born September 24, 1928 in Chattanooga to the late Arthur A. & Zola A. Cordell Davis.
Mrs. Hardy was a member of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Emmett Hardy, Sr.; son, Gus Emmett Hardy, Jr.; sisters, Frances E. (Jessie) Barnett and Edna R. (Ernest) Webb; brother, William A. (Willene) Davis.
Survivors include her daughters, Malinda Hardy and Peggy Hardy both of Rossville; Susan (Floyd) Cook of East Ridge; son, Robert E (Beth) Hardy of Ringgold; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the North Chapel with Rev. Scott Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
