Beverly Kay Elkins Erwin went home to be with her Lord on April 14, 2020. Beverly was a loyal member of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church for over 30 years. She faithfully served God by ministering to many youth in churches where her father pastored as well as her current church. She retired from Olan Mills after 30 years of employment. She also enjoyed Mountain Dew Code Red, reading, crafting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband John Bryant Erwin III, her parents Reverend James and Thelma Elkins, her brother James David Elkins and parents-in-love John and Estelle Erwin.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Samantha Gabrielle; her sisters Janice Haney and Donna Highers; her siblings-in-law Donna Woolwine and Gary Erwin (Sonia); nieces and nephews Jimbo Haney, Christy Patterson (Jeff), Christopher Highers, Tiffany Highers, Lindsay Ashley (Matthew), Meghan Erwin; great nieces and nephews, Alex, Kelsey, Karley, Jace, Makayla, Malachi, Bryson, and Charlie; adopted daughter Allison Harris (Trent); adopted grandchildren Emma Harris, Thomas and Anna Raines, and Joshua Huffman.
Private services are being held at this time with a Celebration of Life being scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
