

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Fred Johnson; sister, Ruth Williams; and brothers, Clarence Lawson and Elmo Lawson.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had many friends, and was a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for anyone that dropped by the house at any time. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her loving son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Tracey Johnson of Soddy Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Cristi and Cliff Harding of Bartlett, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Maude and Frank Calhoun of Dunwoody, Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law W. B. (Bill) and Betty Johnson of Red Bank; grandchildren, Courtney (Alex) Martin, Emily Harding, and Chase Johnson; and great-grandchild, Abigail Martin.
Billie had been a resident at Morning Pointe of Hixson for the last four years. The family wishes to thank the staff and administrators for their loving care. We would also like to thank Caris Healthcare for their service in the final months and also to the sitters provided by Home Comforts and special attendant Vicki Harrison.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the North Chapel with Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Ed Gravitt, Dr. Ernie Cooper, Rob Creswell, Charles Talbott, Tom Talbott, and Gary Dawn serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kim Hunt and Melissa Abed.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the North Chapel.
