

She was a member of Saint Martin of Tours Episcopal Church, and was so gratified with her many years there with her church family.
Bobbie was employed for many years with the Civil Service Board in Atlanta. After moving to Chattanooga, she was employed with the Internal Revenue Service and spent a long career with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Upon retirement, she helped establish a group of TVA retirees known as the Dinner Belles. For many years she worked tirelessly with the YMCA Christmas Market, which she always so fondly remembered.
Bobbie was born in Madison, GA, to the late Neal and Lula Aaron Mealor. Bobbie was also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Evan Fitz-Gerald, and Ed Henry; 3 brothers, Travis Mealor, Marvin Mealor, and John Mealor; as well as 3 sisters, Elise Hardeman, Fanneal Landrum, and Ruth Gentry.
Bobbie is survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is also survived by many friends including those she made and enjoyed at The Bridge at Ooltewah.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Cumberland View Cemetery, in Kimball, TN, with the Reverend John Bonner officiating.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 1:00 PM ET to 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
Memorials in Bobbie’s name may be to the American Cancer Society, or Saint Martin of Tours Episcopal Church.
